Perry at the Priory
In the summer of 2004 Pericles the Decoy Duck spent a month in The Priory to get over his worm and bird seed addiction.
This blog was originally set up to chronicle his experiences and the inevitable escape attempts.
However, it refuses to die.

Day 2

I didn't even get a say in the matter! I just got told - "You're going to The Priory" and that was it.The press had got wind of the news really fast, so I was dropped off under cover of darkness, with a pair of Tim's cycling shorts draped over my head. That might have covered my face but I still think a pair of webbed feet dangling out the bottom was a dead giveaway.
Anyway, they got me settled in OK. Sandi looked a bit guilty about the whole thing but gave me a hug and told me not to be shy and make lots of friends. I think she really wants me to network and find more guests for the show.
I have a roommate. His name is Ron and he's a lemming. I sneaked a peek at his chart; apparently he's in here for "suicidal ideation". I'm not sure what that is but he keeps jumping off the top of the wardrobe and it's keeping me awake.
I've told him if he doesn't stop I'll kill him but that just made him smile.
